Description
Velour Heat Transfer Vinyl — Real Crushed-Velvet Texture
Give any garment the rich, soft-touch look and feel of genuine fabric. Velour HTV is a plush, crushed-velvet heat transfer vinyl that presses down to an authentic velvet pile — the kind of premium, tactile finish that makes a design look (and feel) expensive. Run your hand across a finished press and you get smooth, luxurious velour, not flat shiny vinyl.
Cut it on any standard craft or professional cutter, weed it like normal HTV, and heat-press it onto tees, hoodies, totes, hats, and more. It's the easiest way to add a high-end, fashion-forward texture to your apparel line.
Why makers love Velour HTV
- True fabric feel: a dense velvet pile that mimics real crushed velour, not a printed imitation.
- Luxe, light-catching finish: the pile shifts subtly in the light for a rich, dimensional look.
- Cuts & weeds clean: use a standard 45° blade — no special tooling required.
- Versatile: bonds to cotton, polyester, and poly/cotton blends.
- Forgiving press: hot or warm peel, so it fits real-world production.
Colors
White, Black, Wine, Gold, and Purple — a curated palette built for everything from streetwear to boutique apparel.
Sizes
- 20" x 12" Sheet — perfect for sampling colors and small runs.
- 20" x 1 Yard Roll — the everyday workhorse size.
- 20" x 5 Yard Roll — best value for production and repeat designs.
How to apply Velour HTV
- Cut: mirror your design and cut with the liner (shiny carrier) side down, using a 45° blade and medium pressure.
- Weed: remove the excess vinyl, leaving your design on the clear carrier.
- Press: 300–320°F (150–160°C) for 8–10 seconds at medium pressure.
- Peel: hot or warm peel. For best texture, avoid over-pressing.
- Finish: cover with a Teflon sheet or parchment and give a quick 2–3 second re-press if needed.
Tip: do not iron directly over the velvet pile and turn the garment inside out to wash. Wash cold, hang or tumble dry low.
