Need the perfect colour match?

Are you struggling to find the exact shade for your school colours? Do you need a precise colour match for a sports team, corporate organisation, or your own clothing brand?

Sometimes “close enough” just doesn't cut it. When brand consistency is key, Atlanta Vinyl has the solution. We offer the ability to order custom manufacturing runs of Siser Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) tailored to your specific colour requirements.

How the custom colour process works

Creating your own custom vinyl colour is a straightforward process, but it is designed for large-scale projects. Here is everything you need to know to get started.

Minimum order requirements

Because this is a custom manufacturing run, there are minimum volume requirements.

  • Total area: the minimum order is 750 square metres.
  • Yield estimate: master rolls are produced at a width of 1.50 metres. If slit down to standard 15" x 50-yard rolls, this minimum order yields approximately 38 to 40 rolls.
  • Commitment: prior to production, you must agree to purchase the entire manufactured run. Due to the nature of the manufacturing process, there may be a slight variance (overage or shortage) in the final quantity, which will result in either a small refund or an additional invoice prior to delivery.
  • Special orders: all pre-orders are considered special orders.
  • Final sale: as these items are ordered specifically for you, they are not eligible for returns or exchanges. For more details, please see our Shipping and Return Policies.

Submitting your colour reference

To ensure we match your vision perfectly, we need a concrete reference point. You can submit your colour in one of two ways:

  • Pantone®/PMS number — a specific colour reference number.
  • Physical sample — a physical swatch of the colour you need matched (an 8" x 10" sample is preferred).

The approval process

Once we have your colour reference, we don't just guess — we prove it.

  • We create a lab dip sample of your custom colour.
  • The sample is mailed to you for physical approval.
  • Please allow 2–3 weeks for the creation and delivery of this sample.

Shipping and timelines

We offer flexible shipping options depending on your budget and urgency.

  • Ocean freight (standard) — no additional shipping cost. Delivery can take up to 12 weeks.
  • Air freight (express) — adds approximately 12% to the total cost of the production run, and saves approximately 3–4 weeks compared to ocean freight.

Final processing

Once the material arrives at our warehouse, please allow 8–10 working days for us to process and slit the vinyl before it is shipped to you.

Seasonal note: for all orders placed in July, please anticipate an additional 4–6 weeks in production time due to factory schedules. Time may also be added around holidays throughout the year.
