About 10 to 14 business days after approval. Every order is checked against your approved proof before it ships from Smyrna, or you can pick it up.

Maximum size depends on the material: 14" for embroidered and chenille, 10" sublimated, 7" woven, 4" for PVC and leather. Chenille is priced from 3" up.
Choose how your patch attaches
Four backing options. Three are included. Choose based on where your patch is going and whether you want it permanent, removable, or temporary.

Iron-on / heat seal IncludedA heat-activated film on the back. Press it on with a heat press or a household iron.
Use it for: Cotton, denim, canvas, twill and cotton-rich blends. Our most popular choice.

Sew-on IncludedA plain back with no adhesive, stitched on by hand or machine.
Use it for: Uniforms, club vests, workwear, and any fabric you should not put heat near.

Hook & loop (Velcro) +$0.25 per pieceBoth the hook and the loop side are included, so patches swap on and off.
Use it for: Plate carriers, packs, gear with a loop panel, anyone running several patches.

Peel & stick IncludedA pressure-sensitive adhesive back with a release liner.

Custom patch FAQ
What is the minimum order for custom patches?
Ten pieces per design on embroidered, PVC, woven, chenille and leather patches. Sublimated patches start at 25. There is no setup fee, no art fee and no small-order surcharge, so a ten-piece order is priced the same way a thousand-piece order is, just at the ten-piece rate.
How much do custom patches cost?
It depends on the type, the size and how many you order, and every one of our patch pages shows the full price table with a live calculator, so you never have to request a quote. As a reference point, a 3 inch patch at 50 pieces runs $2.00 each sublimated, $3.25 faux leather, $4.00 woven, $5.00 embroidered, $7.75 PVC and $8.50 chenille.
Which patch type should I choose?
Embroidered for the classic stitched look and the largest sizes. Woven when your logo has small text or fine lines. PVC when it needs to be waterproof or live outdoors. Chenille for varsity letters. Leather for a premium tonal mark on hats and workwear. Sublimated when you need full color, a photograph or a gradient. The comparison table above puts them side by side.
Do you charge setup, art or digitizing fees?
No. Artwork preparation, digitizing, the digital mockup and revisions are all included. On the rare file that needs significant correction to be production-ready, such as a low-resolution scan that has to be redrawn, we quote that small charge with your proof and you approve it before anything is charged.
Will I see the patch before it is made?
Yes. Every order gets a free digital mockup for your approval, and nothing goes into production until you sign off on it. Revisions until you are happy are included.
How long do custom patches take?
Order processing is 1 to 2 business days, then we send the mockup. Production runs about 10 to 14 business days after you approve it. Your order then ships from our Smyrna, Georgia location, or you can pick it up there.
What file should I send?
Vector is best: AI, EPS, PDF or SVG. We also accept PNG, JPG and PSD at 300 DPI or better. Upload it right on the product page when you order and we will tell you if anything needs adjusting before the mockup goes out.
Can you match my exact brand colors?
Send your Pantone references in the notes and we will match them as closely as the material allows: thread colors for embroidered, woven and chenille, molded PVC colors for rubber patches, and full-color printing for sublimated. Your mockup confirms the colors before production.
How do I put a patch on?
Choose iron-on and press it with a heat press or a household iron, choose sew-on and stitch it, choose hook and loop to swap it on and off, or choose peel and stick for a temporary display. Every patch page lists the recommended heat settings for that material.
Do you offer wholesale or repeat orders?
Yes. Email support@atlantavinylstore.com and we will set you up with volume pricing and priority production. If you have ordered before, drop your past order number in the production notes and we will match your previous specs exactly.
