The printed design is sandwiched between a carrier and a top film, so you peel, place, burnish with your fingers and lift the film away. The result is a full-color, waterproof, scratch-resistant graphic bonded to glass, metal, ceramic, acrylic, sealed wood or hard plastic. What is a UV DTF sticker transfer?
A UV DTF sticker transfer is a full-color graphic printed with UV ink onto a carrier film and covered with a clear top film. You peel it off the backing, position it, press it down with your fingers, and lift the top film away — the ink and adhesive stay behind on the surface. No heat press, no weeding, no transfer tape. The finished graphic is waterproof and scratch-resistant.
What surfaces do UV DTF stickers stick to?
Hard, smooth, non-porous surfaces: glass, metal, ceramic, acrylic, hard plastic and sealed wood. They are ideal for tumblers, glass cans, candle jars, packaging, toolboxes and cases. They are not designed for fabric, soft or flexible plastic, cardboard or paper — for fabric, use our custom DTF transfers instead.
Do I need a heat press to apply UV DTF stickers?
No. UV DTF is a cold-apply product. All you need is a clean, dry surface and your hands — or a squeegee for larger pieces. Wipe the surface with isopropyl alcohol first so the adhesive has a clean bond, then peel, position, burnish firmly, and remove the top film slowly.

Are UV DTF stickers waterproof?
Yes — the printed graphic is waterproof and stands up to everyday moisture and handling. On drinkware and anything that gets washed regularly, hand washing is the safer bet; repeated dishwasher cycles and prolonged high heat will shorten the life of any applied graphic.
What is the difference between UV DTF stickers and vinyl stickers?
Vinyl stickers are printed and then die-cut to a shape, with a paper backing you peel away — the whole sticker, including its vinyl body, sits on the surface. UV DTF transfers leave only the ink and adhesive behind, so the design sits nearly flush and can wrap around curves like a tumbler. Vinyl stickers are the better fit for laptop stickers, packaging seals and product labels; UV DTF is the better fit for glass, metal and drinkware.
How fast will my custom sticker order ship?

Do I have to order in bulk?
UV DTF gang sheets have no minimum number of designs — fill a sheet with one graphic or fifty, it is the same sheet price. If you only need a single sticker, order by size instead. What file should I send for a custom sticker?
Send high-resolution artwork with a transparent background — a PNG at 300 DPI at final print size, or a vector file, gives the cleanest edges. Artwork requirements are listed on each product page. If you are building your own gang sheet to upload, size the canvas to 23 inches wide and lay your designs out with a little breathing room between them.
