    Sizing Chart

     Size Longest Side*
    Infant 5 inches
    Toddler
    7 inches
    Youth 8.5 inches
    Adult (S-XL) 10.5 inches
    Adult+ (2XL+) 12 inches

    *What is the longest side?
In determining the longest side of an image, the width and height are compared. If the width is greater than the height, then the width is treated as the longest side. On the other hand, if the height exceeds the width, then the height becomes the longest side. Regardless of which dimension is longer, the shorter side is always sized proportionately to maintain the original aspect ratio of the image. This approach ensures that the image retains its original proportions while being resized or scaled.

    DTF Transfer Application Instructions

    1. Preheat the garment for 15 seconds to remove excess moisture. Let the garment cool before adding the transfer.
    2. Place the transfer on the shirt white side down, image facing up.
    3. Press at 300F for 15 seconds under very firm pressure.
    4. Remove the garment from the press and let it stand until it is warm enough to peel.
    5. Peel cool.
    6. Cover the image with parchment paper and press again for 5 seconds. You can use a Teflon sheet or parchment paper.

***Please note: If the image does not come off completely, repress with the image in place, let it cool, and re-peel the film.

Care Instructions: Turn the garment inside out. Machine wash cold. No bleach. No softener. Do not dry clean or iron. Tumble dry low.

    DTF Transfers Frequently Asked Questions:

    1. What type of fabrics can DTF transfers be used on?
DTF transfers are highly versatile and can be used on a wide range of fabrics. They are particularly effective on materials like cotton, polyester, and blends of these fabrics. DTF transfers also work well on less common materials such as leather, nylon, and spandex. Unlike some other types of transfers, DTF is not limited to light-colored fabrics and can be applied to garments of any color, including black and other dark shades.
    2. How durable are DTF transfers?
DTF transfers are known for their durability and longevity when properly applied and cared for. They are resistant to fading, peeling, and cracking, making them a popular choice for garments that will be worn and washed frequently. The durability of a DTF transfer is often comparable to that of traditional screen printing, and in some cases, it may even exceed it.
    3. Can DTF transfers be layered?
Yes, DTF transfers can be layered for complex designs, and you can even layer heat transfer vinyl on top of DTF. However, there are important considerations. The fabric must be able to endure repeated heat applications, and accurate alignment is essential for each layer to achieve the best results.
    4. How Should I Store Unused Transfers?
To maintain the quality of unused DTF transfers, store them in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight. Place them flat to avoid wrinkles and use resealable plastic bags with desiccant packets to control moisture.
    5. Can I Use a Home Iron Instead of a Heat Press?
Heat presses are recommended for professional application but a home iron can be used to press DTF transfers. If you must use an iron, set it to high heat and apply firm, even pressure. Be advised, in some cases using an iron can lead to  less durable and uneven results.
