CMYK Digital Printed Transfer

Our DTF printers use CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) inks, the same inks found in top-of-the-line photo printers, and are optimized for brightness, durability, and optical density. Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black provide a color blend suitable for full-color photos, illustrations, graphics, and text with eye-popping results. To ensure vibrant colors on light and dark-colored material, our DTF transfers come with a color-blocking backer.

How To Ensure The Best Quality DTF Transfers, Completed In A Timely Manner

1. Quality DTF Transfers Start With Having The Proper Resolution

Images should be saved in PNG, EPS, or PDF format and should have a minimum resolution of 300-350 DPI. Screen resolution is 72 DPI while print resolution is 300 DPI. Please note: Low-resolution files will not prevent us from printing your transfers.

2. Size Matters… When It Comes To Perfect DTF Transfers

When selecting transfers based on our sizing chart, we will resize your image(s) to meet the proper length and width. Image quality remains unchanged when the size is reduced but issues may arise when an image is enlarged to meet the proper size requirements. When small images are enlarged expect to see a decrease in sharpness, an increase in blurriness and an overall lower quality transfer.

3. What You See Is What You Get

Save your design file in the size and direction you want to have it printed because what you send to us is what you will receive. The color white is printed on DTF transfers. Be sure to remove white backgrounds because they will show up on the printed transfer. An Atlanta Vinyl representative will reach out to you prior to printing if design-related issues are spotted.

4. Convert Your Text

If you are sending files in EPS or PDF format you should convert your text to outlines. This way, they remain the same when we open them.

5. There Are Minimum Limits To Thickness

Design elements must have 3 points/9 pixels of thickness for proper printing.
